What is the CCTV Drain Inspection Process?
The drain inspection process starts by sending a high-resolution CCTV camera down the drain. Access will be gained via an inspection manhole, and from here, using flexible rods, the CCTV camera is maneuvered through the entire drainage system.
At Pro Drainage, we also use WIN CAN software which not only allows the CCTV technician to see “live” images from within the drain itself but also feeds back this information to other engineers who can help in diagnosis and comparison with past survey results.
Along with the live video footage of the drains, our engineers produce a highly detailed report following the CCTV drain inspection, which includes CAD drawings and video stills highlighting specific areas of interest, including recommendations for any remedial work that may be required.
Our engineers don’t leave it there. Occasionally further works are necessary, such as tree root removal or other more specialist repairs. With your agreement, we organize to conduct any remedial work on your behalf using our highly trained team of experienced professionals.
Our in-house experts can also provide you with advice on how to prevent drain blockages in the future, including recommending regular preventative maintenance.
